How we first met

It was December 2021 when our paths first crossed in a rather memorable way. Jeni was sporting an unforgettable ugly green fluffy coat, and Matt, in a slight predicament, needed to borrow a pair of socks five sizes too small for his “feet” (if you know you know).

Little did we know, this quirky beginning would set the stage for our incredible story.

Cherished moments & big adventures

Since that first unforgettable meeting, our lives have been filled with countless laughs, cherished memories, and spontaneous adventures. From idyllic camping trips and relaxing fishing days to random day explorations, every moment has been a joy. Of course, Matt's proposal is definitely a highlight amongst these precious memories we’ve created.

The Bristol proposal

Matt chose the romantic city of Bristol, by a beautiful old church, for the big moment. We were on our way to celebrate Matt’s birthday in Weston-super-Mare when, just before he planned to propose, Jeni mentioned being a bit chilly. Ever the gentleman, Matt handed her his coat, completely forgetting he had the ring nestled in the pocket! Luckily, she didn't notice, making the surprise even more perfect.

Jeni adds, "the thing i love most about matt is how he cares for everyone around him. he's an amazing son, friend and will be the best husband.
